Total Steel of Australia – Smeaton Grange NSWWe are looking for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to join our busy steel distribution operation at Smeaton Grange.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will play an important role in coordinating the day-to-day warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring orders are picked, packed and loaded correctly and deliveries are organised and dispatched on time.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who understands warehouse operations, enjoys working with a team and can keep the shop floor running efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.Key responsibilitiesAssist the Operations Manager with the daily planning and coordination of warehouse operationsOrganise and coordinate daily truck runs and deliveriesCoordinate picking and packing of customer ordersEnsure trucks are loaded safely,



correctly and efficientlyCheck orders and materials prior to dispatchCoordinate the warehouse and shop floor team throughout the dayAllocate daily tasks and monitor staff productivityAssist with managing incoming and outgoing stockMaintain good housekeeping and organisation across the warehouse and yardEnsure safe work practices and company procedures are followedAbout youExperienced in warehouse supervision or distributionIdeally has steel distribution or steel industry experienceConfident coordinating a team and allocating daily workOrganised and able to prioritise multiple tasksHands-on and willing to get involved on the warehouse floorAble to work under pressure in a busy environmentSafety-conscious with a strong understanding of warehouse safetyReliable, punctual and professionalA good communicator with a practical, problem-solving approachForklift licence and HC Truck Licence is highly desirable
