Find out more about us and our purpose.Your OpportunityThe Family and Carer Mental Health Program supports families and carers of people living with mental illness through a comprehensive range of supports and services.
The service works closely with families, carers, mental health support groups and networks, as well as local agencies and service providers across the NSW North Coast.Reporting to the Program Manager, this role will see you utilise your strong engagement and motivational skills to provide emotional support, respite referrals, advocacy, and carer group support.
You will build strong relationships with external partners to effectively identify carers, connect them with appropriate supports, and negotiate positive outcomes.
Based in Grafton, this role supports communities across both Grafton and Coffs Harbour, with regular travel required to Coffs Harbour.
A pool vehicle is provided for all work-related travel.
This is a fixed-term opportunity through to October ****, with the possibility of an extension beyond this date.This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate community services professional who enjoys working collaboratively, building meaningful stakeholder relationships,
