This is an exciting opportunity to join our External Audit team based in Western Sydney. Our team is continuously growing as our clients recognise the impact we make – that’s why we need you!

You will work with iconic fashion, consumer, technology, property, technology, manufacturing, and oil and gas clients.

The Western Sydney location is also well known for its multicultural food and arts scene, natural beauty (thanks to its riverside location), abundance of relaxed restaurants, shops, and festivals, and is 30-minute drive from the CBD.

What will your typical day look like?

Working under our Audit & Assurance business unit, you will perform more duties than your traditional audit engagements. Not only will you measure the statutory compliance of a company and assess financial records, but you will design and develop innovative solutions for our reputable listed and private clients across a variety of industries.



This will be a rewarding role as you will be continuously exposed to different clients and business environments.

You will gain exposure to a range of high profile and complex accounting issues. Such work will meet your thirst for knowledge and continuous learning, where you will work in a team-based environment and never stop developing. As the world has recognised the importance of reliable financial information, this is your time to become a trusted advisor for our clients.

About the team

Deloitte is a global leader in providing Audit and Assurance services. Our team objective is to use our specialist accounting skills and empower our clients with a crystal-clear understanding of their financial position. We excavate major opportunities and identify risks beyond traditional financial reporting functions. Our team of External Auditors is growing more than ever as the world recognises our talent, that’s why we need you to join us.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

You are someone with:

- 2-3 years’ experience in External Audit
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting/Commerce or a related field
- Be eligible or commenced a CA qualification (or similar)
- Professional services experience gained in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm (preferable)
- Experience with finance systems
- Strong communication, interpersonal, project management, and multitasking skills
