Ivy & Jack is a 120-seat venue perched on the doorstep of Perth CBD, on Hay St. It was once home to the old Town Cinema but is now an urban industrial-chic restaurant with a modern twist.

Ivy & Jack is a favourite venue for many, offering the best daily Happy Hour specials in the CBD, Thirsty Thursdays, Fab Fridays, $18 lunch specials, and more!

Ivy & Jack is part of the Holiday Inn Perth City Centre , so our customers can vary from in-house guests (often enjoying buffet breakfast), external customers, or corporate clients utilising our conference spaces. The venue is open from breakfast to dinner, 7 days per week.

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will work under the direction of our Venue Manager to oversee the smooth running of our venue. You will be the backbone of the team throughout the service periods to keep the operation running smoothly and efficiently. This includes preparing and serving beverages, highlighting promotions, handling guest feedback, taking orders etc.

This role is also responsible for...





- Ensuring all credit and financial transactions are handled in a secure manner.
- Liaising and working collaboratively with Food & Beverage Management regarding daily duties.
- Participating in team meetings, ensuring communication flows throughout the team.
- Assisting with supporting the development of the team to maximise performance and great company culture.
- Ensuring guest satisfaction through delivering the Holiday Inn brand service style of ‘Making Guests Smile” by enabling real human connections, putting guests at ease, and creating moments of delight.
- Assisting and monitor rostering to ensure all shifts are covered to required level.
- Ordering inventory based on outlet par levels, assist in stocktaking as required and assist in resolving discrepancies in inventory.
- Developing and maintain cohesive working relationships within immediate team, and wider hotel team.
- Maintaining the physical appearance and cleanliness of the restaurant including compliance with health and safety standards.

The successful candidate will...

- Have previous experience in a Food & Beverage Team Leader or Supervisor role.
- Be highly motivated and genuinely loves to interact with a variety of different people.
- Know how to prepare a wide range of beverages.
- Have the ability to delegate,



drive and motivate a team.
- Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol.
- Be able to work across a 7-day rotating roster. Shifts will include mornings, nights, weekends & Public Holidays.
- Have full rights to work in Australia.
