ABOUT OUR AOD PROGRAM - NGALLA WIRRIN WUNGENING
Ngalla Wirrin Wungening delivers alcohol and other drug healing practices, through:
We offer support to individuals and families including one-to-one counselling, group programs, and outreach services where we engage with people in the community.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS
This is a pool recruitment process to fill full-time and part-time vacancies across our Perth Metropolitan hubs in East Perth, Mirrabooka, Armadale, Rockingham and Midland.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
- Relevant education or qualifications in social work, community services, mental health, AOD, youth work, counselling or similar. We also value lived, living and equivalent professional experience.
- Commitment to providing services in a culturally strong and safe way.
- Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Outlook and Teams.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
- WA Working with Children Card and ability to complete child safeguarding screening.
- National Police Clearance (dated within the last 3 months)
- Some roles require Department of Justice Screening (we'll help successful candidates to apply)
