Anaesthetic Technician

$32.37 - $36.45/hr plus super

About the role

Brisbane Private Hospital is seeking experienced Anaesthetic Technicians to join our Anaesthetics Department on either a full time, part time or casual basis

Shift times for this role vary including 6 and 10-hour day shifts starting at 630am, 8-hour evening shifts starting at 1230pm and an option for twilight evening shifts from 1700pm-2100pm. on call duties are required on weeknights and weekends.

As an Anaesthetic Technician your responsibilities will include:

Deliver evidence based care

Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team

Ensure patient and staff safety

Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health journey

Brisbane Private is a 181 bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 17 operating theatres conveniently located above the Roma Street Parklands. Specialties include neurosurgery, orthopaedics, spinal, plastics, urology, ENT, Rehabilitation and general surgery and delivery of Brisbane’s leading private drug and alcohol programs from Damascus Health Services.

Essential Criteria:

Diploma of paramedical science of Anaesthesia

A willingness to learn in your chosen area

Commitment to Quality Patient Care

Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Works well independently and within a team

High level organisational skills to meet time constraints

Remuneration: If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on the current Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope -Queensland- Non-Clinical Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2022" (salaries range between $32.37 - $36.45/hr)
