About the Role:

As a Medical Liaison / Sales Professional, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the Day Hospital growth by building strong relationships with doctors, marketing hospital services, and driving referral activity. This position involves working directly with the Hospital CEO and Doctor Engagement Manager to execute strategies that support the growth of key specialties.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement strategies that drive growth in key medical specialties.
- Promote hospital specialists and build referral networks through GP practice visits and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs.
- Develop targeted communications to highlight new and existing medical specialists and services.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with GP practices within our catchment area.
- Foster strategic relationships with key stakeholders to advance business objectives.




- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to accelerate results and meet stakeholder needs.
- Maintain and expand the GP database, ensuring records are accurate and detailed.
- Provide monthly reports to assess the effectiveness of activities and demonstrate return on investment (ROI) through increased referrals.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development or a similar role within the healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of medical specialists and their relationships with referrers, including GPs, other specialists, and healthcare professionals.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to engage effectively with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry.
- Experience in using data to monitor the market, build a pipeline of opportunities, and create growth strategies.
- Experience in cold calling and influencing referrer groups.

Desirable:

- Experience in the private healthcare sector.
- Event management experience.
