As the Care Manager, you will work alongside a second Care Manager as Second in Charge of overseeing the full operation of a large Nursing Home in the City / Eastern Suburbs, close to a bustling highstreet and the train station.
We are looking for a critical thinker with strong time management skills and performance management skills, who is able to enthuse the team and encourage accountability.
What will some of your responsibilities be?
- You will work alongside a second Care Manager and share responsibility for all the aspects of the day-to-day operations within the clinical care setting.
- You will use your clinical expertise, leadership and clear communication skills to oversee the care team.
- With a solid understanding of quality clinical care, you will lead, inspire and educate care professionals to promote team skills resulting in the continual improvement of care.
Key Information
- Salary: $120,000 - $125,000 + Super + Salary Packaging (depending on experience)
- 150+ bed Nursing Home with lots of support onsite,
including a second Care Manager and Quality Manager
- Fully accredited Home, with regular in-house training, education and development opportunities.
- Permanent full-time Monday to Friday role.

Requirements
- AHPRA Registered Nurse with minimum 3 years’ experience.
- At least 2 years current experience in a Care Manager position or similar.
- Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) qualification or willingness to obtain
- Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards
- Be willing to genuinely make a difference and strive to be the best leader possible!
