Our beautiful Villa Maria, is a 100 bed Residential Aged Care home located in Eastern Heights. We are looking for Catering assistants to work on a casual basis to cover annual, sick and training leave.

The shift times are 7am - 3pm + 3pm -7.30pm across 7 days

In this role, you will work closely with our Chef and will assist with the preparation of fresh meals for our residents and ensuring that their nutritional requirements are met at all times. You will also deliver meals to our residents in a professional and efficient matter and maintain cleanliness in our dining room and servery areas.

To be considered a successful candidate, you will possess the following:

- A fabulous attitude!




- Need too have at least 3 days availability a week
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an Aged Care environment - ideally. We are happy to train if you have that fabulous attitude!
- Knowledge in food preparation and safe food handling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Awareness of all relevant WHS guidelines and HACCP requirements
- Tertiary qualification in food preparation / commercial cookery (advantageous BUT not essential)
- COVID vaccination x 3 - mandatory
- NDIS check - mandatory
