Part Time ongoing, 53.2 hours per fortnight, 7 shifts

The Role
The Clinical Educator (Oncology) is responsible for teaching the theory and practice of deterioration and resuscitation programs designed to enhance the personal and professional development of staff. The Clinical Educator (Deterioration and Resuscitation) collaborates with members of the Clinical Education and Quality and Safety Education teams to develop learning resources and inform the development of curriculum within area of expertise.

Key Capabilities (Essential)
Educational/Vocational

Bachelor of Nursing

Postgraduate qualification in clinical education or equivalent (or working toward)

Postgraduate qualification in Cancer Nursing speciality

Registration

Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA) with NMBA

Experience

Recent experience in an education role

eLearning technologies and/or learning management systems





Delivery and assessment of formal curriculum

Facilitation of simulation

Ability to engage and maintain relationships with stakeholders

Knowledge

Sound knowledge of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and evidence based practice related to area of expertise
