About your chance
The Mental Health Service Group is currnetly seeking to recruit a Clinical Nurse to the Kirwan Community Care Team on a permanent full-time basis.
The Clinical Nurse will participate as a member of the Mental Health Team in providing comprehensive mental health assessment, case management, intervention or group work as required within a multidisciplinary framework.
The position is responsible for ensuring the implementation of individual assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow up, multidisciplinary consultation, liaison with referring agents, discharge planning and evaluation of care using appropriate outcome and data measurement systems.
Generous remuneration package value up to $123,435 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range of $4017.60 to $4302.00 p.f. (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading.
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements
- It is a mandatory requirement to be and to remain vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Proof of qualification, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
- Highly desirable:
- Possession of relevant post- registration and/or tertiary qualification in mental health nursing would be well regarded for a position at this level.
- While not mandatory credentialed status with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
- Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under Mental Health Act 2000 .
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
- Possession of class C drivers' licence.
- All employees of the Mental Health Service Group may be required to work in other areas of the service.
