Newcastle Private Hospital is seeking experienced Enrolled Nurses to join our Rehabilitation Speciality Team on a permanent part-time or casual basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided. Newcastle Private Hospital is a 187-bed private hospital located in the heart of Newcastle NSW, consisting of 24 Rehab beds. Our hospital offers inpatient and day programs in orthopaedics, neurological, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.
As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse your responsibilities will include:
Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN
Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
Planning,
assessing, implementing and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with individuals / patients / their families and the multidisciplinary team so as to achieve identified goals and health outcomes
Providing education, support and guidance to individuals / patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
Essential Criteria:
Current Registration with AHPRA
Working with Children check
3 years’ previous experience in medical/surgical essential
A strong commitment to customer service and quality outcomes
Strong teamwork ethic
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Ability to work a seven day rotating roster including night duty
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable Criteria
FIM accredited
If successful, your pay will be based on award 23 - Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF — NSW Nurses’ & Midwives’ Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024 with an hourly rate ranging between $34.59-$48.58 per hour.
