Knox Private Hospital is looking to employ Enrolled Nurses to join their busy Cardiac unit on a permanent, part time basis. About us
Located in Wantirna, Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility with 295 beds, providing Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, 20 bed ICU/CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories and Cardiac surgery.

Chesterfield is a 28 Bed, Cardio Thoracic ward caring for post op CABGS/Valves, Cardiac Angiography and PPMs. You will also be caring for post op VATS and other forms of thoracic surgery along with cardio thoracic medical conditions. Supported by an education team, we provide ongoing training and development, including post graduate education and advanced practice courses.

As an Enrolled Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN

Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs

Act as a role model for Safe Practice

Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy

Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development

Essential Criteria:





Authority to Work in Australia

Working with Children check

Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA

Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

Commitment to Quality Patient Care

Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
