About the role
Gold Coast Private is seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurses to join our team on a full time or part time basis on our surgical ward, specialising in bariatric and gynaecology surgery. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy variety and develop versatility in your skill set.

Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a 336 bed, 22 operating theatre facility located in Southport, the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct. Specialities include and are not limited to: 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology. As an Enrolled Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN
Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
Act as a role model for Secure Practice
Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy
Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development
About you:
To be successful in your application, you will need to meet the requirements below:
Minimum 12 months acute surgical experience
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Competence in IV medication administration
