Are you looking for a rewarding career that allows you to combine your professional skill and passion for delivering excellent customer service to people? Knox Private Hospital are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Health Information Services Officer to join the team on a part-time basis.

As a Health Information Services Officer your responsibilities will include:

Medical record retrieval

Provision of health information to internal and external clients

Filing of paperwork

Filing and culling of medical records

Day to day functionality of the Health Information Service Department

Participating in performance improvement activities

Essential Criteria:

Authority to Work in Australia

Proficient in use of email, web-based applications and Microsoft Word and Excel

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Ability to work autonomously and as a team member in a small team workplace

Ability to work within deadlines

Flexibility in responding to the changing needs of the business

Commitment to document security and patient privacy

Experience with the WebPAS patient information system (Desirable)

Previous experience in a healthcare setting or record keeping environment (Desirable)

Previous experience in Health Information Services (Desirable)
