About the Role
As part of a face paced team, you will provide a full range of administrative support to the Radiology Department as required in accordance with the policies, procedures and values of St Vincent’s Health, including but not limited to reception, patient accounts, bookings, result distribution and audio typing.
Duties for the position include:
Reception duties, answering telephone and email queries.
Registration of patient arrival for their examination along with multi-tasking peripheral demands to ensure an efficient and speedy passage through the department.
Telephone enquiries and direction of calls to the appropriate areas of the department when necessary.
Accurate and timely medical audio typing of dictated reports.
Distribution of verified reports by phone, fax, courier or electronically.
Classifications for this position will range from HS1 - HS16 ($58,442 - $61,365 per annum).
Your Contribution
VCE or equivalent
Previous administrative and customer service experience
Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About the Medical Imaging Department
The Medical Imaging Department (MID) is a busy imaging department providing a wide range of diagnostic and procedural imaging services to inpatients and outpatients of SVHM. The department operates across several locations within the Fitzroy campus, with the main area on the ground floor of the Inpatient Services Building. Modalities includes CT, MRI, PET, ultrasound,
angiography, nuclear medicine, fluoroscopy and general x-ray.
