Medical Imaging Nurse, Wonthaggi Hospital

Wonthaggi Hospital services the Bass Coast and South Gippsland shire communities and offers a range of services, including Pathology, Acute Ward, Radiology, Theatre and Maternity. The Imaging Associates team is excited by the opportunity to provide radiology services to the community in this region.

The Role

As we grow, we are seeking a patient-focused experienced Medical Imaging Nurse to become an integral part of this exciting and significant phase of our business journey.

You will provide excellence in patient care and support our clinical team to efficiently perform medical imaging procedures within General X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, and MRI.





This role is fast-paced and requires a confident practice nurse who values a busy workday, alongside a great work-life balance. You will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to engage with patients and put them at ease.

This is a permanent part time opportunity working 3 day per week (Wednesday – Friday) between our operating hours of 8am and 6pm.

What experience do I have?

To be successful, you will need to have:

- Registered Nursing qualifications and current AHPRA registration
- Current CPR Certification
- Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
