About The Company

Our client is a contemporary, boutique adult and pediatric ear, nose, throat, head, and neck surgery practice. They pride themselves on their ability to provide excellent care due to their range of highly qualified surgeons and associates.

About The Opportunity

In this role, some of your responsibilities will include:

- Greeting and interacting with patients both in person and via phone/email
- Responding to patient queries in a timely and concise manner
- Communicating with referring doctors and hospitals regarding patient matters
- Taking payments from patients, as well as billing through Medicare and Eclipse
- Booking appointments based on triage and urgency
- Sterilisation of equipment (training provided onsite)
- Generating consultation letters
- Ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy in all interactions

About You

The successful candidate will have:

- Previous experience as a Receptionist




- Experience in the medical industry (desirable but not essential)
- Strong computer skills and experience with cloud-based software (Clinic to Cloud desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

You will also have:

- The ability to multi-task and prioritise
- A compassionate, friendly and understanding manner when communicating with patients
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes/protocols with ease
