$22.67/hr plus 25% casual loading

Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited hospital with more than 35 years’ experience in providing healthcare to our community. It has grown to become one of the largest private hospitals in Victoria, admitting more than 25,000 patients per year.

Our busy Orderly Department is seeking to employ experienced Orderlies (or those keen to learn) for a range of casual shifts, both AM and PM.

This customer service focused role encompasses all aspects of patient care to very high standards. We require staff that take pride in their work, have an eye for detail and are aware of the importance of Hospital cleanliness and hygiene. The role includes Patient assistance and transfers, the use of lifting machines and bed movers, Bed making and cleaning, rubbish and linen removal

This position requires any amount of physical activity and walking.

Selection Criteria:

Previous experience as an Orderly / PCA / PSA preferred

Experience in a busy Hospital environment (desirable)

Understanding of Manual handling procedures

Good time management skills

Excellent Customer service skills

Flexibility and adaptability

Available for on-call shifts
