The role

Reporting to the manager, you will be responsible for working with stakeholders throughout the organisation to identify opportunities for leveraging organisational data to drive business solutions. You will also be responsible for applying advanced quantitative methods, data mining, modelling, and analytical tools to solve complex business problems.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for extracting data from large datasets, perform complex data and statistical analysis, interpreting and communicating results, inspire the adoption of advanced analytics across the organisation, and provide advice to senior managers as appropriate.

The successful person

To be successful in the role, you will have solid SQL service and relational database understanding and strong TSQL knowledge. You will also have a strong understanding of the software development cycle and strong programming skills to be able to enhance/ adapt/create code as required.

In addition to this, you will have the demonstrated ability to analyse large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets using a range of statistical modelling techniques and software tools (e.g. Excel, SAS, R, SQL, Qlik).
