Join Our Team as a Quality and Compliance Officer in Aged Care - Bunbury

If you’re ready to make a difference in the aged care sector, we want YOU to be part of our dedicated team. The role of Quality and Compliance Officer is offered on a part time basis (minimum of 6 days per fortnight) and is locate in the beautiful coastal location of Bunbury

As our Quality and Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that we are able to adhere to all regulatory standards and best practice. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with our team, residents, and their families, fostering a culture of openness, respect, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Quality Assurance - monitoring and evaluating care services delivered to our customers, ensuring they meet our stringent quality standards and staying up-to-date with industry regulations and guidelines, supporting the implementation of changes as required to keep our care services in line with best practice initiatives.
- Training & Development - providing training to staff regarding quality improvement initiatives and compliance standards, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
- Audits and Reporting - conducting regular audits, preparing comprehensive reports,



and making recommendations to improve care services and compliance processes.

We are looking for applicants who are able to demonstrate the following:

- A degree (preferably post-graduate level) in Health Services, Aged Care, Nursing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or a related role within the aged care sector.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven high standard of written an oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including residents, families, and staff.
- Proficient in using quality management systems and data analysis tools.
- Highly developed report writing skills.
