Located on the beautiful Great South Coast, South West Healthcare offers a comprehensive range of medical, surgical and psychiatric services. The organisation serves a catchment in excess of 110,000 and comprises of a total of 282 beds and an extensive range of primary and community services. About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to join our Receptionist/Switchboard team in a permanent part time (28 hours per fortnight) position. Additional hours will be required as rostered to cover periods of annual and sick leave.

Duties and responsibilities include reception duties at the Main Entrance reception area for the Warrnambool Base Hospital, operation of the hospital's switchboard, courier duties, assistance with Retail Shop and cashier function and other general office duties as required.

The successful applicants will be required at times to work up to full time between the core hours of 6.45am and 9.15pm including weekends and public holidays.

A high degree of professional organisation, time management and communication skills are required together with a sound knowledge of Microsoft computer applications. Accurate data entry skills and the ability to work in in both a team and independently with limited direction is also essential for the role.
