An excellent opportunity exists for a passionate and motivated Anaesthetics Registered Nurse to join the Theatre Unit at a private hospital in Sydney. It is a permanent Full-Time position.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include delivering safe, researched-based standards of nursing care, providing complex and multi-disciplinary care, working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs, acting as a role model for Safe Practice, supervising, directing and supporting nursing team members, and delivering education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Post-graduate qualification in Anaesthetics or working towards (desirable);
- Relevant experience in Anaesthetics;
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- Good clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work well independently and within a team;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills;
- Proficient computer skills;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Working with Children check (if relevant);
REMUNERATION
Salary ranges from $34.59 - $48.58 per hour, based on your years of relevant experience.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Liverpool, is a 98-bed, 7-operating theatres acute surgical hospital. Services provided include (but are not limited to) General & Surgical Day Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, Maternity and Special Care Nursery facilities, Oncology Unit, and a Mental Health Unit.
