About the role

Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient care to join our Critical Care ward on a Permanent Part Time or Casual basis.

Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a 336 bed, 22 operating theatre facility located in Southport, the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct. Specialities include and are not limited to: 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology. Gold Coast Private Hospital is continually growing and offers exciting opportunities and qualified career pathways in health care.

Essential Criteria:

- Bachelor of Science (Nursing)



or equivalent
- Registered with no restrictions with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - AHPRA
- Minimum 18 months recent experience in a Critical Care Unit
- Postgraduate critical care qualification (desirable); or willing to work towards
- Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development
