Knox Private Hospital's Emergency Department is providing opportunities for experienced Registered Nurses with a passion for exceptional patient care.

About us
Located in Wantirna, Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility providing Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, 20 bed ICU/CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories.

Our dedicated, 10 Bed, standalone Coronary Care Unit has a highly skilled team caring for patients with acute cardiac conditions and procedures such as TAVI, Ablations and Interventions. Supported by an education team, we provide ongoing training and development, including post graduate education and advanced practice courses.

As a Registered Nurse – Emergency Department your responsibilities will include:

Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care





Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care

Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs

Act as a role model for Secure Practice

Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery

Essential Criteria:

Authority to Work in Australia

Working with Children check (if relevant)

Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent

Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA

Demonstrated experience in emergency or critical care nursing

Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

Clinical expertiseand commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement

Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team

Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused

Flexibility to work a roster of Morning and Afternoon shifts as well as Saturdays when required.

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2021 - 2025" (salaries range between $34.55 and $46.21)
