About the role
Peninsula Private Hospital are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Unit on a fixed term - 6 months, part time basis, 60 hours per fortnight. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

This robust offering and holistic approach to patient care enables our team to work closely together to ensure our patients receive a bespoke healthcare experience like no other.
As a Registered your responsibilities will include:
Deliver protected, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN
Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy
Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development
Essential Criteria:
Authority to Work in Australia
1-2 years’ minimum surgical experience in acute setting
IV Qualified
Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Advanced level of clinical skills (desired)
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across 24/7 roster
