About the Role
Our established Mental Health Service provides bespoke inpatient and emergency department mental health support. As a private hospital,



we provide care to mental health patients who choose to be admitted under a private psychiatrist, however we also provide mental health support and services to public patients who present to our emergency department. In addition, we work in partnership with NSW Health to deliver public mental health services for the continuum of the patients’ mental health recovery journey post discharge. Our mental health service has 63 inpatient beds.
Our services include:
• 6 bedded Short stay unit
• 20 acute adult mental health unit
• 22 private adult mental health unit
• 15 older persons mental health unit

The acute mental health unit has been designed, built and fitted to an exceptionally high standard to provide a pleasant environment whilst meeting the requirements for an acute mental health facility. It has a 4 bedded high dependency area which is used for patients requiring high levels of care.
The acute adult mental health unit has an exceptionally positive energy and positive staff morale between the nursing, medical, allied health, and management teams. The culture has always been to grow, learn and deliver excellence in a supportive and enjoyable atmosphere. As a senior registered nursed nurse you will be part of the multidisciplinary team ensuring best clinical practices and care are provided to our patients

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024 , salary range between $34.59- $48.58 per hour.
