Excellent opportunities exist for enthusiastic and experienced Mental Health Registered Nurses to work at a private hospital in Melbourne. Permanent part-time positions are available.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

- Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care;
- Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members to deliver patient care;
- Plan, assess, implement and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with women, their families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes;
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end-of-life needs;
- Led successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes;
- Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
- Act as a role model for Safe Practice.

REQUIREMENTS

- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a mental health setting (hospital, mental health facility or community setting);
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent;
- Compliance with ACQSHC national standards;




- Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement;
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer-focused;
- Authority to work in Australia.

ABOUT THE FACILITY

The hospital, located in Melbourne, is an acute facility that provides a full range of surgical and medical services, including a dedicated mental health unit and a full-service maternity unit, including mother and baby services. The hospital has 5 modern well equipped interactive operating suites accommodating the following specialities: orthopaedics, gynaecology & obstetrics, urology, neurology, plastics, paediatrics, ENT, ophthalmology, general, endoscopy, oralmaxillaryfasico surgery and vascular surgery.

REMUNERATION

Salary ranges between $34.56 and $46.22 per hour.
