Prince of Wales Private Hospital is looking to employ Perioperative Scrub & Scout Registered Nurses on a Full-time basis. Part-timehours may be considered for the right applicant. The successful applicant may be eligible for a remuneration bonus (subject to taxation & superannuation) upon commencement.

As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:

Deliver evidence based nursing care

Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team

Ensure patient and staff safety

Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to deliver patient care

Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs

Essential Criteria:

Current Registration with AHPRA

2 years’ postgraduate experience as a Scrub / Scout Nurse

Working with Children check (if relevant)

Commitment to Quality Patient Care

Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Works well independently and within a team

Basic computer skills

Desirable Criteria:

Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards)

Experience in Orthopaedic Surgery

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2020 – 2024, a salary ranging from $33.91 - $47.62 per hour.
