Knox Private Hospital is looking to employ Registered Nurse for their Scrub/Scout Unit. Suitable applicants with a clinical background in any of the following specialities are encouraged to apply:
Cardio Thoracic
Orthopaedic
Neuro Surgery
Plastics
ENT
Vascular
As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:
Deliver evidence based nursing care
Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
Ensure patient and staff safety
Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to deliver patient care
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
Located in Wantirna, Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility providing Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, 20 bed ICU/CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories.
Our theatre complex has recently grown to 15 theatres including a Day Procedure Centre, Hybrid Theatre and supports a range of acute specialties including General,
Endoscopy, Colorectal, Bariatric & Liver surgery, advanced laparoscopic procedures, Cardiac, Neuro, Orthopaedic, Plastic & Reconstructive surgery, Gynaecology, Urology, Vascular, ENT & Paediatric surgery.
Essential Criteria:
Current Registration with AHPRA
Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards)
Working with Children check (if relevant)
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Works well independently and within a team
Basic computer skills

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2016 - 2020" (salaries range between $33.05 and $44.21
