About the role

Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our busy Nurse Bank. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:

Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care

Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care

Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs

Act as a role model for Safe Practice

Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs

Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a 336 bed, 22 operating theatre facility located in Southport, the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct. Specialities include and are not limited to: 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology. About you

To be successful in your application, you will need to meet the requirements below:

Authority to Work in Australia

Working with Children check (if relevant)





Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent for RNs

Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA

Minimum 12 month’s experience in an acute hospital setting

Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement

Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team

Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
