Here within our French's Forest clinic; NSW, we have an exciting position available for a full-time, permanent Registered Nurse.

The primary purpose of the Oncology Registered Nurse is to provide clinical care, education and support the delivery of exceptional patient experience by responding to patient needs as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality care.

On offer is a full-time permanent opportunity with the largest provider of cancer care in Australia. We are also open to applicants wishing to be engaged on a part-time basis.

On offer is a sign-on bonus of up to $3k staggered over 3,6 and 12 months of service.

What you’ll do:

Assesses and plans nursing care for the patient using GenesisCare templates

Administration of medications as per GenesisCare policy and procedure

Performs nursing observations as per policy and procedure

Attends to nursing procedures following competency assessment and/or education.

Contemporaneous documentation as per GenesisCare policy and procedure

Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological and spiritual support to patients, family and friends

Provides comprehensive patient education as per GenesisCare policy and procedure

Provides mentoring to junior staff and or students

Collaborates with Oncologists and the multidisciplinary team

Maintains a safe and clean environment working within GenesisCare Policy and Procedure

Maintains own professional development and sets goals to address gaps or desired growth





Protects patients and their families by adhering to infection control policy and procedure

Maintains patient and organisation confidence by adhering to policy and procedure

Contributes to the team effort by assisting with team goals

Bring a positive, enthusiastic and ‘can-do’ attitude to work

Develop and maintain professional working relationships

Who you are:

Eligible for unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA

Sound clinical experience and competence as a Registered Nurse

Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to demonstrate empathy for patients and their carers

Demonstrated clinical and problem-solving skills

Ability to plan and coordinate the clinical management of care

Commitment to and involvement in the application of quality improvement and evidence-based practice principles

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team member

Evidence of continuing professional development

Experience in the field of Oncology working with a variety of patients

Working towards post graduate education
