The role
The Senior Planning Officer will complete research, undertake analysis and interpret and communicate results to inform the development and review of health service plans. You will coordinate and contribute to consultation exercises, as well as establish and maintain effective communication, with internal and external stakeholders.

Overall, you will assist in the development of statewide plans and strategies and providing advice on population health needs to contribute to the evaluation of investment requests.

The successful person
You will have sound research skills along with high level written communication skills, including the ability to contribute to reports, discussion papers and submissions. You will also have an understanding of health service planning processes and the ability to utilise departmental frameworks and tools to contribute to large, complex statewide health service plans.
