POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Project Officer, Capability (Clinical governance and safety capability), is responsible for the project management, strategic planning, and delivery of capability training to support the development of systems and processes which support high quality, safe and effective care. This involves development of support materials designed to embed effective clinical governance and safety,
as well as providing education to the sector which includes the development and facilitation of training.
Your experience in quality and safety and clinical governance will be utilised to support, develop and deliver the teaching and coaching to a wide range of stakeholders across health, to make impactful change within their workplaces and services.
Are you:
- A person with deep knowledge and experience in quality and safety, clinical governance, project management and adult learning principles?
- An excellent communicator and educator who can create a compelling vision and motivate teams and individuals to achieve results that will drive safety in our health sector?
- Experienced in working in highly sensitive and dynamic environments and able to adapt to changing and often challenging priorities?
- A leader with a proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships?
The Senior Project Officer, Capability (Clinical governance and safety capability) works as a member of Culture and Capability and has responsibility for project managing, planning and delivering teaching for boards, executives, healthcare workers and consumers to support the outcomes required in clinical governance.
Core responsibilities include:
- participating in design, development, delivery and evaluation of clinical governance and safety teaching and coaching programs.
- engaging and working with a range of internal and external stakeholders to co-design and deliver training which meets the needs of the health and aged care sector.
- working collaboratively across Culture and Capability to meet program deliverables and to support strategic thinking
