About your opportunity

Fixed term temporary full-time, commencing asap for up to six months with a possibility of extension.

The Department of Social Work within The Townsville Hospital and Health Service provides comprehensive Social Work services as an integral part of its health care delivery system.

The purpose of this role is to provide high level Social Work services and management of all patients on the residential aged care and NDIS pathways. This position will deliver high level clinical social work services working both within a multidisciplinary environment and across a number of wards and clinics.





Generous remuneration package value up to $11,770 p.m. comprising:

- Salary range of $4409.80 to $4745.20 p.f. (HP4)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements

- Tertiary qualification in social work that provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Please note: participation in clinical on-call arrangements (including the Department's Emergency Clinical Oncall Roster (which requires a 30 minute response time), shift work (including early, late and night, as well as weekends and public holidays.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis. It is a mandatory requirement to be and to remain vaccinated against COVID-19.
