We manage two well-branded hotels in Melbourne CBD with almost 400 rooms. We are seeking for an experienced and passionate Accountant (permanent full-time) to join our friendly and supportive team.

Role Overview:

- Maintaining General ledger accounts and proactively handling requests from internal and external stakeholders.
- Reporting to the CFO and assisting CFO with various tasks when required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Preform cash reconciliations, bank reconciliations, AP, AR and Payroll
- Assist with the month end accounting process




- Assist requests and queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Assist the CFO with ad hoc tasks when required
- Proactively checking/responding emails
- Liaising with the staff from other departments for various tasks

Required Skills and Attributes:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Familiar with Xero or similar accounting systems
- Able to work autonomously and proactively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be hands on and flexible with tasks
- Strong level of accuracy & attention to detail
- Ability to take on responsibility and accountability
- Have a can-do attitude
- Be open and confident when dealing with internal and external clients
- Excellent computer software skills
- Formal Accounting qualification: Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
