The opportunity
This is an exceptional opportunity for early-career Actuarial professionals to join one of Australia’s leading insurers in the role of Actuarial Analyst. With multiple roles available working across short- and long-tail products, we are seeking people to:
- Support Actuarial Managers to perform end-to-end reserving work for various products across short tail and long tail.
- Perform monthly BAU tasks and other Actuarial analysis as required
- Support ongoing actuarial claims performance monitoring to provide insights to the business.
- Be the ‘go-to person’ for data analysis and support to senior Actuarial professionals, enabling the team to provide meaningful insights to the business
- Support QBE’s annual budgeting cycle,
and provide ongoing analysis to support financial reforecasts of QBE’s P&L.;
- Continuously seek process improvement and be part of the QBE Actuarial modernisation journey
Your story so far
You’re an Actuarial skilled, potentially straight out of university as a graduate, or ideally with a small amount of experience under your belt. You enjoy analysing data and using actuarial judgement to provide meaningful insights to the business, enabling us to manage a profitable portfolio of insurance products. You are an exceptional communicator and are comfortable engaging with stakeholders across a broader organisation to collaborate and achieve success.
