The Bennett Hotel is seeking a motivated & enthusiastic Assistant Venue Manger to join our team on a full-time basis & lead our front of house team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is hands-on role oversees & looks after the day-to-day running of a busy venue. You will be working closely with both the licensee & venue manager to ensure all services run efficiently and seamlessly.

- Overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, to maintain a smooth workflow of both front and back of house
- Supervise, train & direct staff to provide a excellent customer experience
- Ensuring that the guest experience delivered is aligned with the identity of the venue
- Lead by example to promote & create a positive workplace culture
- Manage opening & closing procedures
- Work with the management team to drive revenue, manage labour costs, coordinate functions & events and implement strategic initiatives

ABOUT YOU

As the Assistant Venue Manager,



you will need to possess strong leadership skills to mentor the team to learn and continue to grow. You will help drive the day-to-day operations and ensure that every guest experience is memorable.

- A genuine passion for delivering warm & engaging hospitality
- The ability to lead & continuously develop the FOH team
- A proactive nature and the initiative to drive growth & improvement throughout the venue
- Have a sound understanding of financials, labour costs, GP’s etc
- Hold current NSW RSA & RCG
- Available & flexible to work nights, weekends & public holidays as required
- The ability to perform during high-pressure service periods & be highly adaptable
- Australian working rights
