Bad Shepherd Brewing Co is seeking a passionate and experienced Bar Shift Lead to join our vibrant team in Cheltenham, Victoria. As a full-time Bar Shift Lead, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient operation of our bar. What you'll be doing
- Lead and supervise the bar team during your shift, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient operations
- Assist with the training and development of bar staff, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver a high-quality experience
- Manage inventory, stock levels, and ordering to maintain a well-stocked bar
- Handle cash and financial transactions accurately, including cash-ups and reporting
- Ensure the bar area is clean, well-presented, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers, contributing to their overall experience
- Assist with event planning and execution, as required
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar bar or hospitality leadership role
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a warm, welcoming, and efficient experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Proficient in cash handling, inventory management, and reporting
- Knowledge of liquor licensing regulations and a commitment to responsible service of alcohol
- Enthusiasm for the craft beer industry and a passion for providing a memorable experience to our customers
