Catholic Healthcare's George Mockler House in Mona Vale is on the lookout for a Catering Assistant to join our team to provide exceptional service for our residents. We have 1 permanent shift available and the opportunity to pick up casual shifts to cover planned and unplanned leave.
In this role, you will work closely with our Chef and will assist with the preparation of fresh meals for our residents and ensuring that their nutritional requirements are always met. You will also deliver meals to our residents in a professional and efficient matter and maintain cleanliness in our dining room and servery areas.
To be successful in this role you’ll need:
- A fabulous attitude! ESSENTIAL!
- Previous experience in a similar role in Aged Care - ideal but not essential
- Knowledge in food preparation and safe food handling
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A Certificate in Hospitality / Food Safety is highly regarded
- A genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
- VCOVID vaccinations x 3
- NDIS check or willing to obtain (this has replaced the police check)
