About you

Now is the perfect opportunity to join the catering team at Lingard Private Hospital. With a commitment to providing the highest quality food service and customer satisfaction, our teamwork a 7 day a week rotating roster. Shifts are between the hours of 6am and 7pm. Our Chef/Cooks have the best work life balance in the hospitality industry, it’s a lifestyle change and a great workplace. If you have pastry experience, you will be highly regarded.

Essential criteria

- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination status, in line with Public Health Order for all health care workers to be fully vaccinated
- Sound knowledge of HACCP & NSW Food authority guidelines
- Minimum 4 years kitchen food production experience
- Work to standard recipes with sound knowledge of specific diets & food allergies
- Understanding of Vulnerable People’s Act
- Good communication and written skills

Desirable criteria

- Pastry cook experience
- High volume line Chef experience




- Function experience
- Demonstrated experience of success in food preparation & customer satisfaction
- Sound leadership capabilities with a proven experience working in a team environment and building respect amongst staff at all levels
- Certificate 3 in commercial cookery
- Trade certificate commercial cookery cert IV
- A high level of personal maturity and strength of character to successfully grow within a dynamic organization.
