Plenty Cider is a family run business located in Plenty in Tasmania’s pristine Derwent Valley. We have a focus of working with local fruit growers to source premium produce to passionately create full fruit flavoured ciders.

Responsibilities Within the Venue

1. Opening and closing the venue, including daily set up and pack down of the bar and associated service areas.
2. Follow all reasonable direction from managers in the day-to-day operation of the bar.
3. Be self-motivated and capable of working well without direct supervision.
4. Work effectively and efficiently in the day-to-day operation of the venue
5. Safe and accurate handling of cash and eftpos transactions and settlements.
6. Maintaining and ensuring a high standard of venue cleanliness for the sake of both staff and customers.

Customer Service

1. Ensure the highest level of friendly and professional customer service at all times in the representation of Plenty Cider.
2. Maintain a high level of personal grooming and cleanliness
3. Maintain sound knowledge of Plenty Cider products.
4. Work to ensure a fantastic customer experience and target increased customer spends.

Other Duties Include But Not Limited To

1. The flexibility to work shifts at markets and festivals as required
2. The Flexibility to work evenings when events are held at Plenty Cider
3. Assist in the operations of events

Essential Requirements

1. Current RSA (Responsible Serving of Alcohol) and WWVP (Working with Vulnerable People)



accreditation
2. Current drivers’ licence
3. A strong focus on quality and customer service
4. Team player
5. Adaptability to react to high-growth and an ever-changing environment
6. Whilst hospitality experience is not essential, it will be an advantage

About you; we are looking for-

1. An individual with a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail – the ability to manage bookings and complete tasks accurately (including processing transactions) is required.
2. Proven organisational and planning skills within a service environment – you are able to prioritise, multitask and adhere to timeframes and are able to work unsupervised on occasions.
3. You are trustworthy, reliable and able to exercise discretion and uphold confidentiality and trust relating to all work matters.
4. Proven customer service skills – you will be an excellent communicator, who has an engaging and empathetic nature and the ability to identify customer needs, manage groups and utilise conflict resolution skills if required.
5. The ability to work harmoniously alongside other team members, be supportive and encouraging of other co-workers and the capacity to develop and maintain strong skilled relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
6. A passion for local Tasmanian food/beverages and a knowledge of local experiences, or the ability to acquire this knowledge.
