Hacienda Sydney sits above it all with one of the most iconic views of the Harbour Bridge. Hacienda Sydney is a vista bar inspired by the grand plantation architecture of Cuba, mixed with the lux yet playful modern vintage hotels of 1950's Miami. Rum inspired cocktails draw locals and visitors from afar on a regular basis. As a key member of our team, you will represent our service philosophy with your professional and friendly manner.

The role

We are seeking for a skilled, experienced passionate bartender to join one of the most beautiful waterfront cocktail bar’s in Sydney. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Responsible for the service of beverages, in particular Hyde Hacienda's extensive cocktail list.
- Maintaining product knowledge and maximising bar sales.
- Providing all customers with memorable, personal and unique experiences showcasing Hyde Hacienda’s flair and glamour.
- Ensuring all products are consistency of high quality as per Hyde Hacienda standard.
- Keeping the bar organized, stocked and clean at all times.




- Having knowledge of and operating within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies

What you will bring

- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
- Relevant experience behind a high-volume cocktail bar for a minimum of 1 year.
- Genuine interest and passion for the bar industry.
- Contemporary & classic cocktail knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, whilst being guest orientated and service minded.
- High standards of presentation for both yourself and your work.
- Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude.
- Flexibility to work across a 7 day rotating roster, including late nights, weekends and public holidays.
