If you hold a gaming license have experience in hospitality/ or looking to get into the industry, then we are looking for you at the Claremont Hotel.

The general duties performed in this role will include attending to enquiries from our gaming patrons, preparing and dispensing beverages and providing fantastic customer service to all our hotel guests.

Some of the position’s duties include (but are not limited to):

- Managing gaming functions within the venue
- Managing TAB functions within the venue
- Monitoring gaming operations within the venue
- Maintaining compliance and responsible gaming practices
- Day to day operations of a busy gaming room
- Demonstrated cash handling proficiency
- A comprehensive knowledge of all gaming machine regulations, compliance, operations and procedures
- A comprehensive understanding of food & beverage products and services
- A professional & mature “can do” attitude with the ability to work unsupervised




- An ability to provide fantastic customer service to all our hotel patrons

The following qualifications are desirable:

- Current Tasmanian Special Employee Licence (SEL)
- Current Responsible Service of Gaming Certificate (RSG)
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
- Keno Writer & Gaming Machine Attendant or Senior Keno Writer and Gaming Machine Supervisor Certificates
- TAB experience would be an advantage

Availability and flexibility to work a variety of night and weekend shifts which may include public holidays.
