So… What's Gumbuya World all about?

Gumbuya means meeting place and, aptly so, has been the location of gatherings of friends and families for decades. Gumbuya World opened after a MASSIVE redevelopment in 2017 plus HUGE expansions in 2019 & 2022… and is now hopefully on track to have our WILLLDEST SUMMER EVER!

We have a passionate team working across the Guest Services and Hospitality team. But… we all have one thing in common - we want every single one of our guests to have the BEST DAY EVER!

We are looking to recruit for the following positions:

- Guest Services and Hospitality Attendants
- Call Centre Attendants

When do we need you?

All roles are offered on a casual basis, given the seasonality and trading days of our business. These roles all have various start dates and frequency of work… But we do ask that you are available to work a minimum of 3 weekdays and 1 weekend day per week during both December and January.

Successful applicants will be available over our peak period including weekends, school holidays and public holidays.

We offer a variety of shifts ranging from morning, afternoon & full days and are able to accommodate working parents & students.

What qualifications do you need?

Working in a theme park is LOTS of fun, but we do take it seriously when it comes to the safety of our guests. To ensure their well being and satisfaction we require our staff to have the following qualifications:

All staff require:

- Current Working with Children Check; Employee Type (under 18 years old are exempt from this).
- Permission to work in Australia.
- All hospitality staff need a food handlers cert (these are easy to get online!)
