Brief Summary of role:
The AOD Senior Case Manager is responsible for ensuring an effective, productive and high-quality delivery of rehabilitation and withdrawal services to individual clients. This will involve in building strong, professional and influential relationships with clients and adhering to compliance within the Service Agreement.
The Senior Case manager is responsible for the oversight of referrals, intake screening, assessment, and case management. Delivering a service that provides opportunity for change and recovery with a primary focus on alcohol and other drugs, health management and life skills by providing access to resources, services, workshops and individualised recovery plans and continued care.
Using a culturally appropriate approach to support participants to build on existing strengths and capabilities, providing an opportunity for re-empowerment and increased well-being.
The position is to provide leadership, supervision, and allocation of participants to Case managers, including training and support to complete external training or qualifications. Ensure that the delivery of Case Management is person centred, culturally appropriate and utilises evidence-based programs, assessment, and measurement tools.
Salary and Conditions:
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $80,000 – $93,000 per annum (pro-rata)
Entitlements/Benefits: 6 Weeks Annual Leave + 2 Weeks Sick Leave + 2 Weeks Ancillary Leave + 1 RDO per Month
Location: Venndale Rehabilitation Centre (located 30km from Katherine)
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week – 7.5 hours per day [Monday to Friday | 08:00am – 4:30pm]

The successful application should have;
• Cross cultural awareness and effective communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a multi-disciplined client base, including persons who are culturally and linguistically diverse.
• Competent use of Information Technology, including software such as Work, Excel and Outlook
• Experience working with Indigenous persons.
• Knowledge and understanding of case management principals and practices.
• Training or experience in rehabilitation and/or withdrawal services.
• Good time-management skills.
• Current NT Drivers Licence, National Police Check and Ochre Card.
