Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care? Northpark is looking to employ Registered Nurses for their Peri-Operative Services Unitt. Suitable applicants with the right clinical background are encouraged to apply.

We are searching for enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse with sound experience in scrub/scout with a focus on Orthopaedic Surgery? We need you to assist our Perioperative Services Manager in the leadership and clinical support of the theatre team.

Position Responsibilities –

The position is responsible for providing clinical leadership to the ward/unit to compliment the strategic direction, operational processes and quality management of all patients.

With the assistance and direction of the Peri-Operative Services Manager, you will provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based.

You will be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources.

Northpark is a 127 bed facility with five operating theatres,



Maternity, Surgical & medical and Mental Health Services. Further exciting opportunities in the near future with building & renovation developments at Latrobe Private Hospital to accommodate 4 more operating theatres, a 30 bed ward and a 4 bed HDU. We are excited to see the two hospitals come together and complement each other with our various and growing services. We anticipate opening Latrobe before the end of October 2023

Selection Criteria:

Current Registration with AHPRA

· Sound clinical knowledge

· Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

· Working with Children check (if relevant)

· Experience in the Acute setting/relevant to position advanced skills (at least 12 months experience in Plastics/ENT)

· Degree in relevant specialty area

· Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills

· Positive role modelling behaviours

· Excellent customer service focus, time management and prioritisation

· Ability to manage a agile and changing environment

· High degree of computer literacy including MS office and various data bases
