The Financial Market Operations team are excited to welcome a Business Manager to their team to support an exciting and diverse pipeline of projects and management support activity.

As the Business Manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders within Financial Market Operations and across Macquarie to deliver projects and conduct analysis to support management decision-making, strategy and process improvement. As such, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the leadership team.

The environment you will work within is fast paced and outcome focused, so you will need to be comfortable with a level of ambiguity, changing priorities and have a flexible and pragmatic approach with a strong bias to action.

We expect you to have a learning mindset and curious nature, pick up new concepts quickly with a strong desire to challenge the status quo.

As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Analysis of business processes – detailed analysis of business processes & supporting data to identify opportunities for improvement to operating models




- Data Analytics and data visualisation – utilising relevant tools to produce management information reporting for internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on story-telling & identifying key insights from data
- Change & communications - Supporting the implementation of change capability & transformation frameworks, including managing communications across the team
- Risk & Controls - Management of Operations Risk & Control standards, policies and governance frameworks
- Management support - Financial management, workforce management and analysis

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Whilst prior experience as a Business Manager is not necessary for this role, excellent communication skills, an aptitude for numbers and an interest in data will be invaluable in setting you up for success.

Other relevant skills and experience may include:

- Strong planning skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and re-prioritize as needed
- Good written and oral communication skills, a methodical approach, high attention to detail as well as the ability to both interpret, convey and synthesize information in a clear and concise way.
- Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to establish good working relationships and manage stakeholders at all levels.
