About the Role

Staff on the Metro South Health Nursing Midwifery Deployable Workforce (MSHNMDW) work across all Areas of the Health Service primarily as part of the COVID-19 response which includes but not limited to Screening Clinics, Vaccination Clinics, Concierge services, and mask fit testing. Working on the MSHNMDW provides a unique opportunity for staff to develop skills that are not bound to one location or specialty but are transferable across all areas, developing staff both personally and professionally.

The Enrolled Nurse (EN) practices under direct and/or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) / Registered Midwife (RM); utilising clinical skills to provide evidence-based person-centred care within Metro South Nursing and Midwifery Deployable Workforce Pool. The EN consolidates knowledge and skills moving from beginner to experienced, applying their depth of knowledge and competence to effectively develop, provide and evaluate patient care,



with regular communication and/or assistance from the Registered Nurse.
