- Level E: $195,371 + Head of School Allowance + 17% Superannuation

The University of Wollongong is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, energetic academic leader with an outstanding track record in research, teaching, governance and management to provide vision and leadership for the School of Psychology.

We are seeking a Head who is committed to achieving the very highest standards in Psychology education, training and research. The appointee will be expected to cultivate a dynamic, collaborative workplace that will foster excellence and innovation in teaching and learning and research across all discipline areas of the School, and to promote these School activities locally, nationally and internationally. The role will also have overarching responsibility for Northfield’s Clinic.

The Head of School plays a central role in the development and maintenance of standards in academic administration,



delivery of a robust learning and teaching environment at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and the professional development of academic staff, as well as contributing to the future directions and strategic planning of the School and Faculty. This position reports directly to the Executive Dean and will work closely with the Associate Deans and with the other Heads of School within the Faculty, and with University units and divisions.
